My boyfriend and I went to Paris earlier this year and it was an amazing visit. I could post 100 photos from Paris, it's so hard to pick only one photo. I chose this photo because I'm sure most of you have seen plenty of photos of the Eiffel Tower and I love the details of Notre Dame...

Photo Category Title:  Connections and Cathedrals
Location:  London, England

Description:  Faith is what binds humanity from society to society around the world through the ages. Not all the same religion, but the concept of faith and its magnificence and beauty is illustrated in my photograph of a breath-taking Cathedral that was built so incredibly long ago yet is still in use today. As the importance of faith prevails all around the globe.

Photo Category Title:  Big Ben's A Question of Time

Description:  This photo inspires the questioning of our skewed and clouded understanding of the concept of time. The emphasis of our man-made increments of counting time is emphasized through monuments like England's famous Big Ben. It's interesting that I took this photo in England during a long layover on the way to Africa for a mission trip. In Africa, we actually discussed how to the the joyful African people, time is more of a generalized concept unlike many societies like America and England. Their African society does not emphasize the necessitation of punctuality - as time is ultimately man-made to an extent. Additionally, our narrow human understanding of the nature of time and its progression is ultimately limited to a mere illusion. Hopefully this photo will prompt the reevaluation of how we perceive and value time because, "Life Is Not Measured By the Number of Breaths We Take, But By the Moments That Take Our Breath Away."
