Photo Category Title:  Fiesta Flags
Description:  This photo was taken at Fiesta Birmingham 2015, Birmingham, Al. I love how so many countries are represented at this event every year. This picture symbolizes how many Hispanic groups there are in our great city, and how important patriotism is, no matter where you are from.

Photo Title:  Indonesia Bromo
Location:  Mt Bromo, East Java, Indonesia
Description:  Mt. Bromo is probably Indonesia's most famous volcano and the best place for sunrise. For me, this is probably the most challenging journey to take a picture. In order to make 4 a.m. sunrise viewing, we rented a jeep with local driver as trip is long and steep, the roads were narrow, with many twists and turns. At the viewing site, the weather is quite chilly. After the viewing, we continue to ride the jeep to see beneath Mt. Bromo, which is a sea of sand and looks like a desert from far. We continue by foot to be close to the foot of Mt Bromo. It's a very long and tiring steps to the summit. My sweet brother got us a horse ride coming down from the summit as we were all running out of breath and energy. It's truly once in a lifetime scenery and journey.

Photo Title:  Bazar Du Panier
Location, Marseille, France

Description:   This photo is of a store on a quiet street in the lavender capital of the world.
To me, this photo showcases perfectly how I view many things in the world: how aged beauty and imperfection can be perfectly intertwined into something new for us to see. This store is old and has been damaged over time. Some of the paint and outside wall has come off yet the decor pieces hanging on the shutters and the plants in the Windows give viewers a new, kind of natural image to enjoy. I also feel that this building is very French-esque and a wonderful image representative of the county's culture.

Photo Category Title:  Walk With Me

Description:  This was taken at an ancient castle in Marseille, France. It's titled "Walk with Me". I titled it this because when I look at the photo I get the feeling that I am being invited to walk down the path and enjoy the scenery. There is something very inviting about this alleyway. Maybe it's the light in the distance, or the curves of the road, or the many different kinds and colors of doors along the path. Either way, I could stare at it all day.
